January 2020: Learning to compose sentences and Quran Work

Week 1 [Jan. 4th 2020] 
  1. Students worked on sentences in the class.
  2. We made our practice more focused on Unit 2, Unit 5 and Unit 6
  3. We also started on reading rules


Week 2 [Jan. 11th 2020] 
  • We worked on making sentences in the class.  Students wrote the Arabic translation of the sentences from the books
  • We also practiced the reading rules


Week 3 [Jan. 18th 2020]
  • Class was held on the phone.  Here is the recording.  We started on Unit 4
  • Homework: Write following sentences in Arabic on a piece of paper and be ready to hand it in the class

    • Where is the book?
    • How is he?
    • Where are you?
    • That is for a book
    • This is in the book
    • He is a teacher
    • I am the teacher
    • Who is the teacher?
    • Who are we?

Week 4 [Jan. 25th 2020] 
No Students could show up for the class

Students should bring the sentences from last week in writing (in Arabic) as well as make their own 5 sentences in Arabic

All 15 sentences are due this Sunday in writing

Week 1 [Jan. 4th 2020] 
  1. Irregular verbs was our main focus.
  2. We worked on verses 31 to 34
  3. We also reviewed verses 25 and 26 for greater understanding


Week 2 [Jan. 11th 2020] 
  • We worked on verses 35 to 38
  • We also reviewed verses 27 to 30 for greater understanding


Week 3 [Jan. 18th 2020]
  • Class was held on the phone. Here is the recording.  Br Farhan and Sr Nura attending
  • We worked on new ayaat 39 and 40
  • We reviewed 31 to 38 for greater understanding 


Week 4 [Jan. 25th 2020] 


  • Memorize the chart for irregular verbs from Page 40 and 41.  Next week 
  • We worked on new verses 41 to 43 with Sr Sadaf (Br Azizullah was on a break)
  • We also reviewed verses 17 to 24 for greater understanding
